Through engaging content, insightful mentorship, and interactive tools, we aim to guide our members on their journey of lifelong learning, career discovery, and self-empowerment.
Vision
MentorEyes™ aims to become the leading platform for e-mentoring—supporting both adolescents and adults in exploring career paths and fostering intellectual growth. It will serve as a trusted source of time-tested knowledge and wisdom, enabling mentors to provide meaningful guidance to mentees as they navigate various aspects of life. Through essays, images, and videos, MentorEyes™ will offer mentoring on topics such as career pathways, job opportunities, entrepreneurship and wealth creation, academic development, and other areas of interest—all within a secure and supportive environment. Members will also have opportunities to share their experiences through blogs and forum discussions.
The Heart of Our Mission

Dr. Sade Kosoko-Lasaki, multiple prestigious award winner, has a proven record of helping
over 18,000 students from disadvantaged backgrounds to enter and successfully complete
health profession schools through a rigorous education “pipeline” process. For over four
decades, as a Black female physician in academic medicine, she has developed programs
worldwide through implementation of a tailored model designed to address the academic and
social needs of students to provide opportunities for community based experiential health
professions training with emphasis on underserved communities. Dr Kosoko-Lasaki has done
extensive research in Health Disparities and increasing the workforce worldwide, thus proving
her ability to understand and mentor students to achieve success. She has received over
$25million from several Health Resources Services Administrations (a division of Health and
Human Services), Center for Disease Control, National Institute of Health, and Department of
Defense grant awards.
Dr. Kosoko-Lasaki has built collaborative relationships worldwide and serves as a respected and
trustworthy community/academic leader in the Omaha area. Dr. Kosoko-Lasaki has lectured
nationally and internationally on cultural proficiency and health disparity issues, focusing on the
promotion of “pipeline programs” that prepare and support disadvantaged students from grade
4 through health professional schools including premedical, predental post baccalaureate
programs and pre health professions Prematriculation bridge programs so that they can
become successful health care providers. Over 400 physicians and dentists have successfully
graduated from the programs she supervised in the last 25 years.
Dr Kosoko-Lasaki is an ophthalmologist (glaucoma specialist) with over four decades of
experience in medical and surgical management of eye diseases both locally and abroad.
